Middle East Finance Veteran Brings 17 Years of Regional Experience and Global Family Office Expertise

DUBAI, AE / ACCESS Newswire / November 11, 2025 / General Holdings Limited announced today that Justin Inniss has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer, where he will lead deal sourcing, execution, and institutional investor relations for the DIFC-based investment platform.

Inniss brings over 25 years of international finance experience, with 17 years based in the Middle East since 2008. His deep regional expertise spans family office services, emerging markets, and alternative investments across the GCC and broader MENA region. He currently serves as Executive Director of Faz Holding Company in Riyadh, overseeing investment decisions for a single family office while maintaining his role as founder of Karen Thomasine, a New York-based advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.

“Justin’s deep roots in the Middle East, combined with his proven ability to orchestrate sophisticated transactions with prominent regional and international stakeholders, make him uniquely positioned to help us structure institutional partnerships and deploy capital across our business verticals,” said Paul Scribner, Chief Executive Officer of General Holdings Limited. “His experience navigating both family office relationships and institutional capital markets will be invaluable as we scale our platform.”

“General Holdings represents the kind of entrepreneurial, multi-strategy platform I’ve been looking to build with for years,” said Inniss. “The opportunity to combine infrastructure consolidation in North America with strategic investments across the Middle East aligns perfectly with where I see the most compelling risk-adjusted returns in today’s market.”

Inniss’s Middle East tenure began in 2008 as Senior Managing Director of Cassia Group FZ LLE in Dubai, where he spent eight years launching and building a private equity firm focused on defense, energy, and alternative assets. He later co-founded Inova Capital AG (2018-2021), a Swiss-based commercial family office specializing in fund structuring and investment enhancement, before serving as Head of Client Management at SIGNET in Zurich (2021-2023), where he managed wealth initiatives for sovereign families, entrepreneurs, and foundations throughout the region.

His appointment strengthens General Holdings’ ability to access institutional capital and execute complex cross-border transactions as the firm builds its multi-strategy investment platform across infrastructure services, commodities, and strategic investments.

Japan posts record July trade as imports outpace exports

July marked the second consecutive monthly record for imports by value. Crude oil played a major role in the increase as Japan faced higher energy costs. Crude import volumes rose 5.5% from July 2025, ending three months of year-on-year declines. The value of those crude shipments jumped 87.8% over the same period. Japan remains heavily dependent on imported energy, making changes in oil prices and exchange rates important factors in its merchandise trade figures.
